Small business owners share one common problem: overwhelm. We’re overwhelmed because we have to do a million things. We don’t quite know how to do stuff. We’re not sure what needs to take priority and we’re always second-guessing ourselves.
So we try to work longer hours to get more done, running on adrenaline, caffeine and panic. We start neglecting ourselves and our families, and life is just not a lot of fun. We start losing the joy of life.
Of course, you can continue on like this. You can keep on struggling, getting mediocre business results and working 80-hour weeks.
Or you can take a shortcut.
A shortcut to a more successful business - and having a life
I’ve been working with consultants, coaches, designers, creatives and small business owners since 2011. During that time, I’ve helped them:
deal with overwhelm, prioritise what needs to get done first and implement time management techniques to get more done and take more time off;
find clarity about who they are, what they do, how they help their clients solve their problems and tell their story so everyone gets it;
build websites, get better at marketing, nurture their leads, sell more effectively and deliver at consistent quality;
implement back-office procedures to minimise the amount of time you spend on admin tasks; and
break through the mindset barriers holding them back from being successful.
If you’re impatient to get there faster, my Business Coaching program can help you get there.
Neville is like Yoda for entrepreneurs! He is a master facilitator and coach who generously brought so much value to the program I was running - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any business who needs to level up.

How this works
In my coaching programs I become your dedicated navigator while you drive your business. The coaching program runs in 4-week cycles and we meet online for one hour every week:
At the start of the cycle, we analyse your situation and prioritise the issues at hand. We pick the next issue to work on and set a goal we can achieve in this cycle.
In every coaching session, we take a deep dive into the issue. I bring the full weight of my experience to bear on the problem and help you find the things you need to do to break through.
I will not only coach (help you find the right answers), I will also mentor (show you the best way) and consult (show you how to do it).
At the end of each session, you get 2-3 specific tasks to complete by the next session. If you get stuck during the week, I’m just an email away.
I’m going to keep you on track, accountable and challenged - so you can get where you want to be faster. And I’m with you every step of the way - your success is my success.
If you’re really serious about building and scaling a business that’s sustainably successful, a program like this is a non-negotiable.
One of the problems that you have as a solopreneur or small business is that there’s a lot of glamour around it but there’s no one teaching fundamental skills and tactics you need to build and scale a business. Having someone who’s been there and done that to show you the ropes and also ask you the difficult questions to see whether or not your business is validated - and to give you the tools and tactics and wisdom to succeed - is underrated and incredibly valuable.
I don’t want to be surrounded by people who tell me I have a good idea. I need someone who can ask the tough questions I don’t know to ask - but who can also give me the tools I need to build and scale my business sustainably.
Sometimes you’re so close to the problem that its hard to distill what you’re doing into words that someone outside your industry will understand. We’re all masters of our craft and sometimes its hard to communicate the value of what we do to someone who’s not an expert in your field. It takes a certain level of empathy to distill to the core what pain points you’re addressing.
You got very entrenched into my business and the specific problems I had to deal with. You didn’t give generic advice or pre-canned responses to the struggles I was having; they were genuine and reflective of the troubles I was having at that moment. By also providing tactical suitable solutions to overcome those challenges and foresee future challenges helped me to take that learning curve and shorten it exponentially.
A lot of the stuff that I’ve learnt from you I would probably have learnt 5 to 20 years from now - but I didn’t want to go through that learning curve and learn the lessons the hard way.
I think that if you want to build a business that is successful now you can’t afford to be thinking too fluffy - if you’re really serious you want to have that toolkit that you can apply to your business tomorrow so you can iterate from there.
I was able to put all the processes and templates in place to scale my business. I can now bring contractors on board spending less time explaining to them what is required - because that was built out up front and automated where possible. This has freed up my time to think more about the strategy for my business and work on it rather than in it. I expanded my services into my product ladder to get more people though the door, build up trust and turn that into a retainer-based engagement.
I would absolutely recommend that people join your group or individual programs.

I want you to fire me
My goal is to get you results - as fast as possible. If you’re successful, there’s only two things that can happen:
you don’t need my guidance any more and you can leave a happy customer; or
we take on the next, bigger and more ambitious goal.
Your success often means I lose a client - but you’ll be a happy client and I will have the satisfaction of seeing another business take off for success.
This is for you if:
you are a solopreneur, consultant, coach, designer, creative, developer or small business owner;
you make the decisions in your business;
you don’t know what to do next, or you’re stuck with something specific you need to get over;
you’re hungry to break through the barriers holding you back; and
you want to get there fast.
This is NOT for you if:
you’re looking for a life coach: I’m not a therapist, reiki healer, shaman, lawyer, or accountant;
you’re not willing to put in the work: I’ll provide you with the insights, help you set goals, eliminate overwhelm and gain clarity. I’ll hold you accountable. But it’s up to you to execute.
you’re not willing to make changes: ego is the enemy, and I can’t help you if you’re not open to explore new ideas.
you are not willing to take ownership: not everything is your fault but it will always be your responsibility.
When I originally reached out to you I was struggling with how I could scale both my one-man show as well as turn it into something bigger. I didn’t know what my constraints were, I didn’t know how to be more effective as a solopreneur, I didn’t know how to get more high-value clients - I didn’t even know what the problem was with not being able to scale my business.
I thought that the constraint was being a one-man show - and that is a constraint. But the key constraint which you helped me identify was business clarity; that was the number one constraint in growing my business. You helped make it absolutely clear what the constraint was, and now, six months later, it’s stood the test of time.
Understanding my own constraints was the breakthrough that I needed to move my business forward.
The biggest value in working with you has been the ability to tie in ROI for my clients to my fees - and that is based on business clarity. I now have two instruments that I can show my clients, based on quantifiable information, so they can score themselves and it’s easy for them to see their own business clarity.
I can now tell my clients that I’m most effective when they have business clarity; they get the best results from my work to generate qualified leads when they are clear on what they do, and I can now tie that to actual data.
I’ve also found that this is a process; I created a case study for my clients but you helped me focus in on what actually mattered to my clients. When I showed it to one of my current clients it was so exciting - they saw the data and they immediately said “we get it.” That’s powerful.
I would definitely recommend working with you - as long as they’re prepared to listen! They have to be prepared to be warmly challenged and feel uncomfortable - but if they have a sense of accountability they will be thrilled at what happens to them and their businesses.
These personal interactions - working with you face to face or on online calls like this - is what has made this work. I’ve found this invaluable in building and growing my business!

How to get started
I only take four coaching clients per month. The cost is CAD$800 per 4-week cycle, and there’s a waiting list so you may have to wait for the next slot to open.
Before you and I commit to a coaching program, we’re going to have a 30-minute online video conversation. For the first 25 minutes we’re going to talk about you and your business, where you’re stuck and how I may be able to help. I’m going to give you at least one thing you can do right now to break through one of the things holding you back.
In the last 5 minutes we’re going to talk about whether we’re a good fit. I’m not going to try and sell you on my program - by now you will know whether this is going to be worth your time and money.
If you decide to go for it, I’ll reserve the coaching slot and send you an invoice. If you don’t pay within the next 24 hours, I will send you exactly one reminder. If you don’t pay within 24 hours of the reminder, I will cancel your reservation and you go back to the end of the waiting list.
Are you going to take action?
Getting where you want to be requires that you do something. If you think I can help you get there faster, book an intro call for us below - there’s no cost and no obligation.
Your perspective on things is really experienced. You come at this from experience with multiple industries, multiple stages of development and working with multiple personality types. The perspective you bring is not one-sided - it’s very balanced.
From my perspective you really broke down the concepts into easily digestible pieces so that I was not overwhelmed. I was able to take the information in and understand it because you deconstructed it in a way that was not super intimidating or overwhelming.
The in-person meetings we had were extremely tailored. It was almost like that extra little thing that helped me execute on what I needed to do at that point so I could progress my business.
I would recommend your programs all day long!
